The information is basically supplied by the families. So a lot of the forms that we have them fill out are informational forms, asking about the child in particular, any needs that the family has. We ask about the type of family. So whether it's a single parent family, a two-parent family, is it a grandparent that's raising the child? Is it a foster child? Is it an adopted child? They fill out lots of paper work that tell us a good amount of information about that family. So then I can gear how I think about the family, what services I think the family may need, or what additional supports they might need, can be taken from that paperwork. [01:32:00] In ongoing conversations with the families I keep in touch with what they might need. The paperwork that they fill out really gives us an idea of how they think about their child, what they're looking for from the center. Are they looking for a supportive environment? Are they looking to form a community from people in the center? Or are they just looking for a place that is quality daycare to take care of their child. For a lot of our families they don't have extended family in the area so the center community does really become, in essence, their extended family. So all of this information is taken from the paperwork that they give to us. That helps me, and the teachers, figure out the best way to deal with the family, and what they are looking for. It's very much a team approach at the center. So you have the individual teams as far as the classrooms, but I am part of that team as is Polly, the director, we're all part of that team. We have the teaching teams, the administrative teams, and when the families first come to the center, and I know they enrolling, I meet with each one of the teachers to let them know the insights I have about the families. So they have the base information to start with, and then they also have to look over all the forms that the families give us and I do work with the teachers and support them while they working with the families. So there is a lot of contact between the teachers and myself, and between families. It's really very much for the community atmosphere, and the team atmosphere, so we're all working together to make sure each child gets what they need.
