I started here last August, and I began the interview process the spring prior to that. They had been looking for a director here for over a year, I think a year and a half. The previous director had been here for a very long time, twenty years, may be more. I knew that I was entering a place that had had a long history. She had been on the faculty in the department, and she has passions and what she cares about were very well known throughout the country, but certainly the Boston Area. [01:56:00 I was humbled by the idea of coming to work in a place that was so well known for inclusion, and for working with children with special needs, because that was not anything that I had focused on. All the programs that I had been involved with had children with special needs, but not as part of their mission, and part of their vision.
